Joining the Blogging World!

Hello to all! I have decided to finally join the blogging world! Please don't judge the blog until I learn what I am doing! :) Here is a quick update of what has been going on in our lives. Ryan and I met on a blind date set up by his grandma and my aunt- normal right? On our first date we had so much fun that our second date was already planned by the end of the night for just a few days later. I wasn't too fond of the dating game and rarely gave out second dates. I noticed quickly that Ryan was different than most guys I had been dating. He CALLED me (instead of texting) to ask me on dates. He planned all of our dates really well instead of just wanting to "hang out" and watch a movie. We felt so comfortable together and I felt like I had known him forever. We dated for about 6 1/2 months, broke up in April for 2 whole days and were engaged 2 weeks after that! I guess all it took for us was to picture our lives without each other in it to realize that together is what we wanted to be.
Ryan and I have been happily married for 8 months! It has absolutely flown by. We were married on August 12. 2010 in the Logan Temple and it was the most perfect day. Everything went to smoothly and the weather was incredible! The reception was a fairytale to us! I did hear someone say it was a yellow explosion- which is exactly what I was going for! haha After our wedding we jumped on the airplane and spent the most fabulous week in Maui, Hawaii. I had dreamed of Hawaii my entire life and it is as beautiful and wonderful as everyone makes it seem. We enjoyed snorkeling, parasailing, a luau, shopping, laying by the pool and beach, boogie boarding, driving the road to hana, too much food, and too much sun. It was the best honeymoon I could have asked for- I definitely got spoiled.
Today, Ryan and I are staying busy between school and work. We are living in Logan and going to USU. Ryan is majoring in Accounting (business), and I am majoring in Elementary Education. This is our crazy, beautiful thing called life!
(I apologize for the picture overload!!)
