On Wednesday night Ryan and I were able to go to the Real Salt Lake Soccer game! Ryan's uncle actually owns half of the team and so we get to go to every game! They are seriously so much fun to go to, and we have a blast every time (and also get cinnamon roasted almonds every time.) Ryan has been lucky enought to meet all of the players from the team individually several times and even got to fly down with the team when they played in Seattle for the MLS Cup. So from now on if you know that there is a Real Soccer game going on, you now know where we are! 

I was excited for this game but not excited that there was an 80% chance of snow or rain during it. I love soccer and all but I love being warm and dry too. Apparently being hopeful failed because from minute one it was sprinkling. After half-time it really started coming down but we were loyal fans and stayed wrapped up in our seats enjoying our dripped on nachos and "hot" chocolate! The score was 0-0 and I kept saying that they better score to make the cold worth it! Our friends we sat by left ten minutes before the game was over to beat the traffic and to escape the cold. I am so glad we stayed because all of the sitting in the freezing cold was worth it when we scored in the last 30 seconds of the 90+ minute game. I wasn't even mad that I was wet!

One thing I have struggled with since being married is taking pictures! I seriously don't know if I have even taken my camera out of its bag since our honeymoon. Now that I have a blog, it was on my mind that I need to start taking pictures again! I charged up the camera and had it rarin' to go for Wednesday's game but the rain was coming down pretty hard and so I decided I would pass on the picture taking that night! I'm sure we will be at the next home game and I can then post some new ones but for now here is a picture from one of our first dates at a Real game!
