So last weekend, my Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, Sister, Uncle, and I all flew out to Colorado to surprise my Aunt and celebrate her 50th birthday! My cute cousin Tiffany planned a big surprise party with friends and family at the house and since I don't get to see them very often, I thought it was a great opportunity! We left Friday morning (barely made our flight due to the fact that I left late because I had to go to class, parking took forever, and my mom and uncles bags both got searched!) and we came home Monday night! It was such a fun getaway and fun to catch up with all of them! We enjoyed the party at their house with good food and good conversation! Saturday we spent the day watching my cute cousin Taylor perform at dance competitions with her high school team. It totally made me miss dancing. On our trip we also enjoyed going to the mall, and I'm seriously reminded of how bad our malls here are. I guess Logan is where I am referring to! We then got treated to a lovely homemade meal by my Italian Uncle Sam! It was SO good! I look forward to that every time we go out there. Sunday night, I was glued to the TV as I watched REAL lose to LA. It was kind of expected, but I was still bummed! We then all watched the movie "Just Go With It!" It is seriously such a funny show. Monday we packed up, chit chatted, and did a little shopping before heading to the airport. At the airport this time, my mom did not want to get her bag searched again, and so she took some new lotion that she had and used a squirt on her hands and then threw it away right before security just to be safe. As she went through, she lit up the detector and they said that her hands had a "bomb" agent (aka Curel) on them. This led to her being frisked, her bag searched again, and taken into a second enclosed room for a "full-body frisk." This is all while our flight kept getting closer and closer. Finally, my cute, blonde, terrorist mom was let go and we rushed to our flight! I got home around 9:30 and was so happy to see my cute husband that I had never spent more than one night apart from! He had the house clean and red roses on the table to welcome me home. He's a keeper. My highlight from the trip was definitely my DARLING second cousin Bella. She is so sweet, and became our best friend! I have a cute video of her that I sent to Ryan and if I can figure out how to upload that, I will later! For now, here are a few pics to highlight our weekend! I love my family!

Your poor mom! She looks like a terrorist for sure! ;) Looks like such a fun trip! You have been doing so many fun things lately! I am super jealous!
