Well, here I am again. I really thought I wanted to give up on blogging, but as I started to forget things about the last year, I found myself looking to see if I happened to blog about them. With that said, even though I am a terrible blogger, it is the best way that I can keep my "journal" of what is happening in our lives! I can't promise I'll be a good blogger and do it often, but here is to trying ONCE AGAIN! :)
Ryan and I are doing great. We moved into a beautiful new home in Smithfield that we just love. I may have to take more pictures to post of the inside sometime! Why Smithfield? We have no idea! We found the lot and everything just felt right. I am so glad it did, because in our short 2 months there, we are so happy. Our neighborhood is awesome. It is crazy for us to be in a family ward, but we are getting used to it! We are thankful for whatever brought us to Smithfield, and can't wait for the many memories to come.
We both made it through our last semester (barely!!) and are excited to be getting closer to the end. I just have my student teaching left and will be an official graduate in December! I can't even believe it myself. I will be student teaching at Summit Elementary School in Smithfield with a 2nd and 4th grade class. Ry is taking a Summer class and will be done with school in May. Since people who graduate in December 'walk' in May, we will get to graduate and walk together. I can't wait! We aren't too sure of where life will take us after graduation, but I have realized that we can plan all that we want, but Heavenly Father has a way of guiding us to where we need to be, and having things happen when the timing is right. We plan on being in Smithfield for a long time and are excited about that (during the Summer any way :))
Since it would be super hard to go back and fill in all the months of blogging I didn't do, I decided I would blog about last week. We were able to go to St. George and watch my brother and his new wife Stephanie be married. It was a beautiful day and it was fun to have a mini vacation!
It was beautiful! The rest of the weekend we played and relaxed. Lacy Christensen was able to take family pics for us while we were down there and she put a preview on facebook! I love my goofy family :) haha
I hope to keep blogging, so I have some sort of journal in my life! But for now I should probably get back to work! ;)
